Project Spotlight

Aga Khan Museum - Toronto, ON

  • August 2014

Project Description

We were hired by the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, Ontario, to paint a mural directly onto the wall. The designers vision was very specific, and as such, they contracted us due to our expertize and extensive portfolio. We were tasked with painting a detailed map which would later have projections of locations. Working closely with them we were able to map out, outline, and paint over the course of a week. A good portion of the project, creating the patterns, was completed off site. This enabled us to work efficiently and limit disruptions to ongoing construction on site. The process was smooth with some fine tuning to match the projections at the end. The finished mural looks fantastic, and we are proud to have been involved with something of this magnitude.
